Brunvoll RDT 2100 - The Next Level

With the new RDT 2100, Brunvoll AS expands its portfolio of Rim Driven Thrusters (RDT) to up to 1.600 kW and a propeller diameter of 2,1 m. This innovation establishes Brunvoll as a full-range supplier with propulsion and manoeuvring systems in the next higher power class of SOVs.
Not only for this reason the Danish shipping company ESVAGT has currently repeatedly selected Brunvoll as a supplier for its Green Fuel SOVs and the new RDT 2100 was part of the package.
In the RDT, thruster, propeller and PM motor form a compact and already very quiet unit. If whisper-quiet operation is needed, SI Schiffstechnik can offer the RDT with an elastically mounted double tunnel. The further noise reduction of 15-19 dB(A) is especially interesting for research vessels and yachts. SI Schiffstechnik has special expertise in the field of noise-reduced thrusters and is available for project discussions.
